Another great Gumafest has come and gone, Ali was home for a few weeks and is now attending summer school, Jake has a few weeks to get down on his finals, (Go Jake!) , and Carol is in the home stretch of another school year. After a great year so far, I’m slow as hell in the film biz. Time to mulch, and make art.

I know that Spring is coming, I can feel it. I can also hear it, as the birds around my house are starting to return to their favorite spots outside my windows. Work has been great for this time of year. Some fun work, some hard work, and some dirty work. That’s OK with lots of bills to pay. Halfway thru year #2 with Ali. And then, Jake in 2005. Anyone know a gallery or a rep who might be interested in thirty years worth of manipulated photography????????????

Work is crazy now, as people are trying to get their work in before years end. Thank God. Nothing like a busy spurt to help with Holiday shopping. Ali finishes her semester in a couple of weeks, and comes home for a month, and Carol and Jake get a little break. Happy Holidays to all, and Happy New Year!

Work is winding down in one of the worst years ever for commercial film production in NYC. Hope it gets better in ’03.

Meanwhile, Ali comes home this week from her 1st semester in college, Jake got his braces off this week, and Carol is in full Xmas mode.

Happy Holidays!

We’re getting ready to take Ali to college, so today the family went to the top of the Empire State Bldg! I felt so guilty that we never took the kids to the World Trade Center, it was like our last official “kid thing” to do with Alison before college. A fantastic view of the world”s greatest city. Thanks Ali, for putting up with me.

Last night was my 30th high school reunion (I’m getting old) from West Islip high school, at Capt. Bill’s in Bayshore, Long Island. What a treat! & total blast from the past. Everyone looked not much worse for the wear & tear of thirty years. The party was way too short to try to catch up with everyone that I wanted to. Maybe before the 40th.
